Turkey Bacon Ranch Rollups

These are absolutely perfect after a busy day when you just don't feel like putting much effort into dinner. You can get the ingredients at pretty much any grocery store and they will be ready in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 4 slices deli turkey breast
  • 4 slices bacon
  • 4 sticks Colby Jack string cheese
  • BBQ Rub
  • Ranch dressing
  • 1 roll puff pastry
  • 1 egg beaten

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Place turkey slice on cutting board and season with BBQ rub of your choice.
  • Place string cheese, bacon, and ranch on end of turkey slice the roll up.
  • Cut puff pastry into 4 equally sized rectangles. Roll up turkey into each puff pastry.
  • Brush on egg wash.
  • Bake at 400 degrees for 20-22 min.

Notes

Feel free to use pillsbury pizza crust if you prefer,  I just really like the texture with the puff pastry!  Use ham in place of turkey,  use mozzarella instead of Colby Jack..  Change it up to suit you!

"Trashed Wings" originated in St. Louis, MO and I had them for the first time last summer. Made them at home less than a week after that and now they are a semi regular menu item around our house. They are easy to make, here is how you do it! Note: They are called "trashed" wings bc your oil will be trashed after making them due to cooking the already dipped in buffalo sauce.
