Sausage Gravy
Country Gravy is not difficult to make even though some people are intimidated by it! Follow this recipe and I can assure you that you will be confident in making one of my favorite things!

Ingredients
- 1/2 lb country sausage
- 4 cups whole milk
- 2 tbsp bacon grease
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- all purpose seasoning to taste
- black pepper to taste
Instructions
- On medium heat, brown sausage.
- Once sausage is cooked through, add 2 Tbsp bacon grease.
- Add 1/4 cup flour and stir so sausage is evenly coated and no flour is visible.
- Allow to cook a couple min before adding milk.(to cook off flour)
- Slowly begin pouring in milk while continuing to stir.
- Once all milk is worked in, continue to stir and just let gravy cook a few min until desired consistency.
- Add all purpose seasoning and black pepper to taste. Enjoy!

Notes
If you want more gravy you can just add more milk slowly at this point. Â I would do 1/2 cup at a time. Â You may need at also add additional seasoning. Â You can use a full pound of sausage for this recipe and I sometimes do. Â
