Whether you’re in the mood for a refreshing companion for your main course, attending a potluck, summer BBQ, or even just want a yummy snack, grape salad is always a smart choice! Plus, it’s a great way to use up any leftover grapes in a new way.

  • Green seedless grapes: Adds a nice tart flavor to compliment the sugar. 
  • Red seedless grapes: Sweeter than green grapes, they add a natural fruity sweetness. 
  • Softened cream cheese: Creamy with great mild cheesy flavor. 
  • Sour cream: Adds a hint of tang, you can also use Greek yogurt here too.

How To Make Easy Grape Salad

1.Wash grapes and place in a large mixing bowl.

2. In a separate bowl add softened cream cheese, vanilla extract, sugar, and sour cream.

3. Beat until smooth.
4. Fold cream cheese mixture into grapes.
5. Transfer to an aluminum pan and smooth out.

  •  Be sure to soften your cream cheese before making this dish. The best way to do this is by cutting it up into pieces and letting the cream cheese sit out on the counter for about 30 minutes, or gently microwaving the unwrapped cream cheese in 10 second intervals until softened. 
  • Swap some of the cream cheese and sour cream for Greek yogurt if desired. This is still creamy and tastes great but is a healthy swap that we also love.
  • If you dislike pecans, you can swap them out for another type of nut. Walnuts or even pistachios would also be delicious. 
  • Jazz it up with some spices. Spices like cinnamon or nutmeg can be added to your liking.

        My Granny used to substitute Grape Nuts cereal for nuts when she needed texture without actually using nuts in recipes.

        I absolutely love this! I had this salad the first time at Chicken Salad Chick. It is the grape salad they use!

        I have a recommendation too really use a mixer or a whisk. If you don’t the sour cream or the cream cheese does this lumpy thing.
