Ingredients for cheesy pull apart bread.

Ingredients:

  • Kings Hawaiian Round Bread- The perfect size, texture, and flavor for this recipe.
  • Melted Butter- I prefer Kerry Gold Garlic Herb for extra flavor.
  • Minced Garlic- I use jarred garlic to avoid the hassle of mincing fresh garlic.
  • Italian Seasoning- Super convenient, it has every flavor needed all packed into one container.
  • Shredded Mozzarella Cheese- Freshly shredded will melt better as opposed to pre-shredded.
  • Grated Parmesan Cheese- The topping to finish off the cheesy perfection.

Storage:

This cheesy pull apart bread is best served fresh, so that is what I would recommend.

However, if you have leftovers they will be delicious reheated. Your bread will stay fresh for up to a week as long as it is stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. For reheating you can use the microwave to soften the bread and remelt the cheese—or you can also use the oven if you’re feeling fancy—Just check on the bread regularly while reheating to prevent burning.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Can I use pre-shredded cheese?
Yes, but it won’t melt as well as freshly shredded.

What type of bread works best?
The King’s Hawaiian Round Bread is my favorite, soft and flavorful.

Can I make this ahead of time?
You can try but it is not recommended.

How do I keep it from getting soggy?
Make sure you do not use too much butter. Find the happy medium of flavor and overpowering.
