Ingredients
- 1 Whole chicken (3-5 lbs)
- 1 Stick salted butter (I like Kerry Gold Garlic & Herb)
- SPG
- smoked paprika
- bacon grease
Instructions
- Separate skin from breast and shove cut up slices of butter around and on top of breast.
- Pat skin dry with a paper towel.
- Rub on a layer of bacon grease then season with SPG and smoked paprika.
- Have your air fryer preheated to 350° and place chicken in breast side up for 15 min.
- After 15 min, flip and cook breast side down.
- After 15 more min flip again and cook breast side up until internal temp is 160° in thickest part of breast.
- Tent with foil and allow to rest for 10 min. Enjoy!
