Country Gravy is not difficult to make even though some people are intimidated by it! Follow this recipe and I can assure you that you will be confident in making one of my favorite things!
Once sausage is cooked through, add 2 Tbsp bacon grease.
Add 1/4 cup flour and stir so sausage is evenly coated and no flour is visible.
Allow to cook a couple min before adding milk.(to cook off flour)
Slowly begin pouring in milk while continuing to stir.
Once all milk is worked in, continue to stir and just let gravy cook a few min until desired consistency.
Add all purpose seasoning and black pepper to taste. Enjoy!

If you want more gravy you can just add more milk slowly at this point. I would do 1/2 cup at a time. You may need at also add additional seasoning. You can use a full pound of sausage for this recipe and I sometimes do.
