Sloppy Joe Sliders

Sloppy Joe Sliders are perfect for dinner or as an appetizer. I make mine a little different, making small changes with ingredients to make big differences in flavor!

Course: Appetizer, Main Course, Snack

  • 1 package Kings Hawaiian Rolls 12 ct
  • Bacon up Bacon Grease
  • 1/3 white onion diced
  • 1 red bell pepper diced
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Woeber's sweet and spicy mustard

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • minced garlic
  • 16 oz shredded Colby jack cheese
  • all purpose seasoning

Instructions

  • Toast slider rolls on bacon grease or butter and set aside.
  • Start by cooking down pepper/onion for 4-5 min on medium heat then add ground beef.
  • Once ground beef is cooked through season with all purpose seasoning, add minced garlic and cook for about another minute or so.
  • Add ketchup, mustard, brown sugar, w sauce, and chili crisp. Allow to cook together on low medium heat a few min before adding to slider rolls.
  • Put cheese on slider rolls and then add sloppy joes.
  • Place covered in oven at 350 for around 10-12 min to allow cheese to melt then enjoy!

Notes

I like these cheesy but feel free to use less cheese if desired.  You can use pre shredded cheese but it doesn't melt as well. You can use yellow mustard instead of sweet and spicy,  you can also use a tsp of red pepper flakes in place of the chili crisp.  I just think those small changes make a big difference in flavor.  The Browsey Acres ground beef is packed full of flavor as well.

This was incredible! I made these for a meal for some young people and they reached about it. We are having it again this coming week! I was wondering it would be possible to cook the meat and then freeze it for later? Anyone try it?

“Trashed” Wings

“Trashed” Wings

"Trashed Wings" originated in St. Louis, MO and I had them for the first time last summer. Made them at home less than a week after that and now they are a semi regular menu item around our house. They are easy to make, here is how you do it! Note: They are called "trashed" wings bc your oil will be trashed after making them due to cooking the already dipped in buffalo sauce.
