Nashville Hot Lemon Pepper Spatchcocked Chicken

I love Nashville Hot Chicken! When I decided to pair it with some lemon pepper and honey I knew it was gonna be a match made in heaven!

Ingredients

  • 1 whole chicken thawed
  • Bacon Up Bacon Grease
  • Lemon Pepper Seasoning
  • Nashville Hot Seasoning
  • Honey
  • 1 Lemon

Instructions

  • With a dependable pair of kitchen shears, remove the spine from the chicken.
  • Flatten the chicken and break the breast bone.
  • Wipe off excess moisture with a paper towel.
  • Rub chicken skin down with some bacon grease.
  • Season generously on both sides with lemon pepper and Nashville hot seasonings.
  • Slice lemon and place on chicken.
  • Put on non direct heat on grill at 325 until it reaches 160 internal in the thickest part of the breast.
  • Allow to rest for 10-15 min then drizzle with honey. Enjoy!!
