The Best Banana Pudding

A variation of Paula Deen’s banana pudding, this is not traditional but it's every bit as delicious and prob easier than most versions! Make this and let me know in the comment section how it stacks up to other recipes!

Ingredients

  • 2 boxes Instant vanilla pudding 5.1oz
  • 6 cups cold whole milk for pudding
  • 2 blocks cream cheese 8oz
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk 14oz
  • 6 ripe bananas
  • 8 oz cool whip
  • 1 package Madeleine's cookies 28oz

Instructions

  • Make pudding according to bam instructions and place in fridge to set.
  • In a large bowl combine cream cheese, vanilla extract, and sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  • Add pudding and beat until smooth.
  • Crumble 1/2 package of cookies in a deep dish 9 x 13 pan, reserving 3 cookies for top.
  • Add 1/2 of pudding mixture and smooth out.
  • Slice 3 bananas and add to pudding.
  • Repeat above process for a 2nd layer.
  • Top with cool whip and smooth out evenly.
  • Place 1 cookie in center as decoration and crumble other 2 on top.
  • Place in fridge and allow to chill. Enjoy!
