Slow Cooker Cheesy BBQ Chicken Dip

Ingredients

  • 1 Rotisserie Chicken
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 12 oz Arbo's cheese dip or similar
  • 1 tbsp BBQ Rub
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 8 oz shredded cheese Cheddar Gruyere, Cheddar Jack, or Colby Jack
  • 2 cups Bacon Pieces
  • 1/2 red onion diced
  • 20 oz BBQ sauce

Instructions

  • Remove skin from chicken and meat from bones. Cut into desired size pieces and place in slow cooker.
  • Add Cream Cheese, cheese dip, and seasonings.
  • Shred Cheese, dice onion, and add to slow cooker.
  • Add bacon pieces and pour in BBQ sauce.
  • Cook on low for 2 hrs. Stir until well combined and enjoy!

Notes

Use pre shredded cheese if preferred,  it just doesn't melt as well.  If you can't find Arbos cheese dip,  use cheddar cheese dip instead.
