One Pot Cheese Mac

One Pot Cheeseburger Mac

Ingredients

  • 8 slices thick cut bacon
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 white onion (diced)
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes
  • 2.5 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 16 oz pasta shells
  • 12 oz Velvetta cheese

Instructions

  • Cook bacon and set aside
  • Remove majority of bacon grease and cook ground beef and onion
  • Add black pepper, garlic powder, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce as well as diced Tomatoes
  • Pour in beef broth and heavy cream
  • Add Shells and bring that to a simmer, then cover
  • Stir every few min until most of liquid is absorbed and shells are al dente
  • Stir in Velveeta until melted and well combined
  • Add bacon to top once you ate to keep it crispy. Enjoy!

    I was looking for something new to cook for dinner and this was great. Taste just like homemade hamburger helper but better. Awesome recipe.
