Ingredients
- 8 slices thick cut bacon
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 white onion (diced)
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp yellow mustard
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes
- 2.5 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 16 oz pasta shells
- 12 oz Velvetta cheese
Instructions
- Cook bacon and set aside
- Remove majority of bacon grease and cook ground beef and onion
- Add black pepper, garlic powder, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce as well as diced Tomatoes
- Pour in beef broth and heavy cream
- Add Shells and bring that to a simmer, then cover
- Stir every few min until most of liquid is absorbed and shells are al dente
- Stir in Velveeta until melted and well combined
- Add bacon to top once you ate to keep it crispy. Enjoy!
I was looking for something new to cook for dinner and this was great. Taste just like homemade hamburger helper but better. Awesome recipe.
