Ingredients
- 2 racks baby back ribs
- kosher salt
- 1/4 cup cayenne pepper
- 1/3 cup turbinado sugar
- 1/3 cup smoked paprika
- 1/3 cup garlic powder
- 1/4 cup mustard powder
- 2 tbsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp kosher salt
Instructions
- Set smoker up for indirect heat bat 275 degrees.
- Remove membrane from ribs and seqson with kosher salt.
- Let salt sweat in for around 20 min and then cut into individual ribs.
- Place on smoker for approx 90 min at 275 degrees. Ribs should be around 170 internal at this point.
- While ribs are smoking make your nashville hot rub. You will have some left over for future use.
- Also, get some oil or bacon grease heated to 350 degrees.
- In batches, fry ribs for approx 3-4 min.
- Place in a large bowl and season generously with nashville hot seasoning. Toss until well coated.
- Next, add about 1/2 cup hot cooking oil and toss again.
- Hit them with a little more seasoning upon plating and serve with dill pickles. Enjoy!
