Ingredients
- 1 box lemon cake mix
- 3 sticks butter(unsalted)
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 pint fresh blueberries
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
Instructions
- In a saucepan melt 2 sticks of butter on medium heat. Add brown sugar and lemon juice and continue to stir until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat.
- In a large bowl add cake mix, eggs, 1 stick melted butter, and whole milk. Beat until smooth.
- In a greased 9 x 13 cake pan add brown sugar mixture. Rinse blueberries and evenly distribute in the cake pan.
- Next, pour cake batter over brown sugar/blueberries.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 28-30 min or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Rest on counter for about 10 min before carefully flipping onto cake platter. Enjoy!
