
Lemon Blueberry Bars

Ingredients
- 1 box angel food cake mix
- 1 can lemon pie filling
- 1.5 cups frozen blueberries
- 1 tbsp corn starch
Instructions
- In a large bowl mix together the cake mix and pie filling until smooth.
- In a separate bowl add frozen blueberries and mix in corbstarch until coated.(keeps blueberries from sinking to bottom while baking)
- Fold blueberries into cake mix.
- In a greased 9 x 13 cake pan transfer cake mix nd smooth out.
- Bake at 350 in a preheated oven until a toothpick comes out clean(approx 30 min).
- Allow to cool and enjoy!
I tried this recipe and after 30 minutes it still didn’t bake. How disappointing
No eggs, milk or oil?
Nope!
Mine came out all gooey in the middle, BIG disappointment!
I followed recipe exactly..what happened?
Didn’t cook long enough. It says in the recipe “Bake at 350 in a preheated oven until a toothpick comes out clean(approx 30 min).” every oven is different, you just needed more time. That being said,
No eggs in it so gooey is still edible.
my toothpick came out clean and still turned all gooey??
Just needs more cooking time then. Every oven is a little different. If you like them a little gooey, it’s fine. No eggs in the recipe.
