Hawaiin Style Ribeyes

If you want something different and delicious, these Hawiian Style Ribeyes are a must try!

Ingredients

  • 3 Ribeyes
  • 1.5 cups low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar
  • 20 oz can pineapple slices
  • 1/4 cup avacado oil
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp minced ginger
  • 3 tsp minced garlic
  • 1 tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions

  • Mix together marinade and pour 2/3 of it over ribeyes. Place in fridge for 2-3 hours.
  • After 2 hrs wipe off marinade and season steaks with SPG. Let steaks sit at room temp for 20 min or so while heating grill and making glaze.
  • Take remaining 1/3 of glaze and bring to a simmer in a sauce pan. Add some corn starch slurry to thicken and remove.
  • Cook Ribeyes to desired temp and remove to rest. Also grill pineapple rings.
  • Place pineapples on ribeyes and drizzle with glaze. Enjoy!
