Crack Chicken Garlic Bread

It's called "crack chicken" bc it's so good you might find it addictive. It's easy to make and absolutely amazing!

Ingredients

  • 1 Italian Loaf
  • 1 stick unsalted butter(softened)
  • 2 tbsp ranch seasoning(divided)
  • 2 tsp minced garlic
  • 3 tsp garlic powder(divided)
  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • all purpose seasoning(for chicken)
  • 1/2 lb bacon
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 2 oz cream cheese(softened)
  • 4 oz sour cream
  • 12 oz Colby jack cheese(shredded and divided)
  • 1.5 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 2 oz cheese dip

Instructions

  • Season and cook chicken with desired method to 165 degrees internal, then allow to rest before chopping up and setting aside.
  • Cook bacon and set aside. Save bacon grease for later and clean out pan.
  • Add cream cheese, sour cream, whole milk, and heavy cream to pan on low medium heat stirring until smooth.
  • Add seasonings(1tbsp ranch, 2 tsp garlic powder, smoked paprika, onion powder, and black pepper) and combine well.
  • Next stir in 2 oz Colby jack until melted and then add cheese dip(helps keep sauce together)
  • Once smooth add in cooked bacon and chicken and make sure its mixed well.
  • Slice Italian loaf in half.
  • Mix together stick of softened butter with 1 tbsp ranch, 1 tsp garlic powder, and 2 tsp minced garlic. Slather all on both pieces of Italian loaf.
  • In a preheated 400 degree oven place garlic bread in for around 10 min.
  • Remove and distribute crack chicken sauce equally on both pieces garlic bread.
  • Add remaining 10 oz Colby jack evenly on bread and place back in oven about 5 min for cheese to melt.
  • You can place under broiler for a min or so if you want to add some color/flavor to the cheese.
  • Slice and enjoy!

Notes

You can use any cheese dip,  I just prefer Arbo's.  Same with Ranch and all purpose seasoning.
